Who We Are
Karachi Rural-Urban Development Initiative (KRUDI) is a developmental NGO established in 2010 as Krucial Aid Nigeria and later incorporated with the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) on February 28, 2013 (CAC/IT/No 59883). KRUDI focuses on Health Systems Strengthening, Transparency and Accountability, Agricultural Development and Environmental Sustainability, Peace and Conflict Mediation, Human Rights and Equity, Community Development, Governance and Democracy, and ICT for Sustainable Development.
As a catalyst for community action, KRUDI bridges gaps by empowering communities through skills development, capacity building, and advocacy, enabling meaningful participation in the developmental process. It operates as developers, facilitators, enablers, and advocates, amplifying the voices of rural-urban communities and civil society to drive collective action at local, state, and national levels through participatory feedback mechanisms.
